Q: Whats the lowest price one can find on the 2008 Honda Accord EX-L version with navigation?
Whats the lowest price one can find on the 2008 Honda Accord in USA on the EX-L version with navigation? and is the new 2008 Accord is better than the previous one ?
A: Yes the 2008 is better. It is way more loaded than before; however the demand is high. Folks are paying sticker in Southern Ca for it or getting very, very little off. If you can wait one more year to let the hype go down and let them work any kinks out from the newest version, I would. Otherwise, good luck. Shop online and do your homework before going to the lot. Maybe if you don't have to have a particular color/features/ you can work a deal out. Good luck... It is a sweet car!
Q: What is causing a whistle sound in a brand new 2008 Honda Accord Sedan?
I just purchased today a new 2008 Honda Accord LXP Sedan with only 29 miles and I am noticing a whistle sound whenever accelerating or I push the gas pedal. I also notice the whistle sound whenever I turn the Steering wheels either right or left. Your help is greatly appreciated.
A: It's new. Take it to the service department and have them fix whatever is wrong.
Q: How can I change users for the Bluetooth feature on a 2008 Honda Accord Sedan?
I have two users set up with the hands free bluetooth in my 2008 Honda Accord Sedan. Currently it is set up so that I am the user. How can my husband switch to user #2 when my he drives my car? I can't find my car manual. Thanks!
A: check page 240 of your owners manual
Basically you have to make sure both of the phones are paired to Bluetooth, then find out which one is currently paired and if its not the one you want linked then you need to change the pairing. Here's the instructions from the owners manual
To list all paired phones, do this:
1. Press and release the Talk button.
After the beep, say ‘‘Phone setup.’’
The HFL response is ‘‘Phone
setup options are status, pair, edit,
delete, and list.’’
2. Press and release the Talk button.
After the beep, say ‘‘List.’’ The
HFL responds by listing the name
of each paired phone. When allphones paired to the system have
been read, the HFL response is
‘‘The entire list has been read.
Returning to the main menu.’’
To find out the status of the phone being
used, do this:
1. Press and release the Talk button.
After the beep, say ‘‘Phone setup.’’
The HFL response is, ‘‘Phone
setup options are status, pair, edit,
delete, and list.’’
2. Press and release the Talk button.
After the beep, say ‘‘Status.’’ An
example of the HFL response is,
‘‘Eric’s phone is linked. Battery
strength is three bars. Signal
strength is five bars, and the
phone is roaming. Returning to the
main menu.’’
To change from the currently linked
phone to another paired phone, do this
1. Press and release the Talk button.
After the beep, say ‘‘Next phone.’’
The HFL response is ‘‘Searching
for the next phone.’’ The HFL
then disconnects the linked phone
and searches for another paired
phone. If the HFL finds it, an
example of the HFL response is,
‘‘Paul’s phone is linked.’’ If no
other phones are found, the first
phone remains linked.

Q: what do you guys think about having the 2008 honda accord coupe wheels on a 2008 honda accord sedan?
I currently have a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P and was looking to upgrade from the 16" wheels to 17" wheels. Initially I was looking at the 17" sedan wheels to put on the car, but they look exactly the same except an inch bigger. So I looked at the coupe wheels instead, do you think they would look good on my car?
A: I think they would look decent, but I personally don't like the Accord coupes rims (I like the V6 coupe rims). Genuine Honda products are pricey, but if you don't mind about spending the money, go for it. You might want to look at aftermarket wheels (if you're not set on buying Honda rims), http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?&autoMake=Honda&autoModel=Accord+Sedan&autoYear=2008&autoModClar=LX-P+4cyl&filterSize=All&filterFinish=All&filterSpecial=false&filterBrand=All&filterNew=All&sort=Brand has a good selection, and good prices. Stick with 17's, and you should have no problems. Hope this helps, and good luck!
Q: How much should I pay for a 2008 Honda Accord?
I am looking at a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P Automatic Transmission
Adding the leather..
What would be a good deal.. So far the most I can get them down is
$22,600 -
Thoughts?
A: I have been shopping around for a car myself and I have been using these sites extensively. they have been very helpful. They have price ranges for different makes and models as well as specs and reviews. Photos also.

I am looking foward on trading in my 2006 Honda Civic for the new 2008 Honda Accord Coupe. Can't wait til is realease, but i want to know the exact date. Does any one knows?
A: GOOD CAR! =] I'm getting he 2008 Honda Accord Sedan [Black EX-L]. I put reserve on mine and the dealer said it will be there and ready for me on September 16th. The release date however, is September 12th.

This car is outstanding! It looks great, and I couldn't find anything else that matched the features that the Accord offers for the price. If you are going to get an EX, go all the way and get the "L" model - the stereo alone is worth it! Throw in the heated seats and dual temperature control and everybody is happy. I highly recommend this vehicle.
Cons:
I wish they offered Bluetooth on non-nav cars. I own a map - I don't want to spend $2,200 for Bluetooth. I'm sure there is some technical reason behind the decision to bundle these two options.
Overall Review:
I have the 4 cylinder - 190 HP seemed to be enough, and I wanted to save a little at the pump. So far I am very satisfied with the acceleration and the the gas mileage. The wheels on the EX are really sharp -

Q: 2008 Honda Accord EX Automatic v4 Sedan Gear Shift Problem?
Hi I my car is Honda Accord 2008 Automatic v4 Sedan. After starting the car when I shift gear from Park to Reverse sometimes it makes a jerky noise - the gear shifts from Park to Reverse with a jerk. Sometimes the jerk is very strong and sometimes no so strong. This does not happen regularly. At other times gear shift is smooth. Is this a problem or the car is designed like that?
A: Depends on how level the car is. In some cars the transmission shifts harder if the car is not level.
Q: Does anyone know how the TPMS on the 2008 Honda Accord's will handle aftermarket wheels?
I am looking to add 20 x 8.5 on a 2008 Honda EX-L Accord Coupe, Manual Transmission. Any help or websites would be great! Thanks!
A: I like http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?&autoMake=Honda&autoModel=Accord+Coupe&autoYear=2008&autoModClar=EX-L+4cyl&filterSize=20&filterFinish=All&filterSpecial=false&filterBrand=All&filterNew=All&sort=Brand because you can see the rims on your car. As for the TPMS, you can buy new sensors http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/categories/tpms.jsp for your rims/ tires. It should be fine and work correctly with your new rims. You should probably stick with 19" rims, no wider than 8", because they'll stick out too much.
Q: Is car insurance cheaper for a 2008 Honda Accord then a 2005 Honda Pilot?
I'm considering trading my 2005 Honda pilot for a 2008 Honda Accord do you think my insurance would go up or down?
A: It should be cheaper for a 2005 Honda Pilot. The 2008 Honda Accord will be more. Also, it would be cheaper for a 2008 Honda Pilot than the 2008 Honda Accord. I know because I was just recently looking at the insurance rating symbols on these vehicles because I am currently car shopping. The Accord has a higher rating symbol (actually quite a bit higher) than the Pilot. Call your insurance company & get a quote. Also, look at a few vehicles & see what they are to insure.
Q: What upgrades are available for 2008 Honda Accord Coupe?
I have a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6speed Nav. Would like to go with Borla header, exhaust, etc. Poss. a chip.....what chips are good? And cold air intake.......But can't find anything for the new 3.5L.......any suggestions?
A: The car is fairly new so I don't think it has to much aftermarket support yet, also I wouldn't mod a car so quick since its basically new still. Wait about a year then you can trick it out. For now just stick with some nice rims and stereo system if you don't like the current one.
Q: Is the V6 power necessary in the 2008 Honda Accord?
I am considering purchasing the 2008 Honda Accord Coupe, but would rather save my money and not get the V6 engine. I have read from owners that without the V6 the car is not powerful enough. Anyone without the V6 that thinks the car is ok without it?
A: The V6 is not necessary by any means but there is a very noticable difference between the 2. The fuel efficiency of the inline 4 is great but it struggles a bit while doing simple task like going up a hill, passing or hauling 4 passengers. Everybody has thier own personal preference and everybody has to decide whats more important (saving fuel, more power). When it comes down to it, I think you should test drive both and decide which model would be right for you.
Q: Can you listen to your Ipod through the Aux. input jack on the navigation system on a 2008 Honda Accord coupe?
I just got a new 2008 black Honda Accord Coupe and i want to find a way to listen to my ipod in the car and i do not want to sync my MP3s to the nav. system hardrive. is there a way that i can directly listen to my ipod without buying a whole system upgrade?
A: Your Accord should have a 1/8" aux jack below the radio or in the center console. you can use a 1/8" stereo mini cable to connect the headphone out from the iPod to the Aux in the car. You will have to control the iPod at the iPod but the audio will be a direct input into the radio.
Does your car have the Aux Jack?

Q: Is the 2008 Honda Accord going to have 4-wheel drive available?
I have been looking into getting a Honda when the 2008 models come out but I would really like to have a 4-wheel drive car or SUV. I own an Accord now and I love it.
A: No. the 2008 Accord will only be in Front Wheel Drive. The Four Drive models are only released in Japan.
Q: How does the body style of the new 2008 Honda Accord differ from the 2007?
Considering buying a 2007 Honda Accord but might reconsider if the new body style is different.
A: 1st of all, check honda's website.
The 2008 accord is the 8th generation accord. It offers 3different engines. A 166hp 2.4l I4, a 200hp 2.4l I4, and a 268hp 3.5l v6. The sedans get better MPG than the coupe because of the VCM they've added. But take note theat the MPG will be lower for all because the new 2008 MPG calculations, everything will be lower.
The new accord is classified as a Large car by the EPA and is very spacious! IMO its a looker!! If you decide to go for it, i reccomend the EX or EX-l sedan. The EX models only recieve v6s this year but the EX I4 has 200hp!
