Q: 2008 Honda CRV EX-L : How can I Get a Good Deal?
I want to buy a new 2008 Honda CRV EX-L .
How can I get a good deal, I saw on another chain that someone paid $24785 out the door.
A: They are overpriced. I would suggest a Mercury Mariner.
Q: Whats the difference between 2007 LX vs 2008 Honda CRV LX?
a link will be useful. I am also interested in finding the difference between 2007 EX model Vs 2008 CRV EX model.
Thanks
A: There really shouldn't be a difference since the model is relatively new. If you're thinking about buying it from the dealer, you'll probably get some cost savings on the 07.
Q: What is the better car 2008 Toyota Rav 4 or 2008 Honda CRV??
We are looking to up grade as we have just had a baby and need the room. And need a reliable car.
A: This article may help you as for it helped me make my decision.

I have a 2008 RAV4 V6 3.5 with 270hp and love it! Its all-wheel drive and gets around 24-26mpg and seats 5 comfortably. It is quiet, safe and it is quick when you need it to be. The CRV only comes in a 4 cylinder but is a good SUV. Honda or Toyota will always be your best bet.
The Murano is an ok SUV but has some reliability issues and a CVT transmission that doesnt get very good fuel mileage.
Good luck!!
Q: What's the lowest price anyone has paid for a 2008 Honda CRV?
A: Which trim line? We have had them as low as $19k on the east coast and that was only for the weekend. You have to remember you are looking at a vehicle that Honda is doubling production of just to keep up with demand.
Q: Which car is best to purchase if I were to choose between the 2008 Toyota RAV4 and the 2008 Honda CRV?
A: Utility
There's no clear winner between the RAV4 and the CR-V as far as hauling capacity. The Toyota RAV4 will quite certainly prove handier than the Honda CR-V for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is substantially more the Toyota RAV4's forte than it is the CR-V's.
Performance
The Honda is likely to feel somewhat sluggish because of its high horsepower-to-weight ratio. In terms of horsepower, the Toyota RAV4 packs quite a wallop and will knock the Honda CR-V down a few rungs. However, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums. With its super low horsepower-to-weight ratio, the Toyota RAV4 will knock you back into your seat when you hit the gas pedal.
Dimensions
The Honda is likely to feel slightly slow because of its high horsepower-to-weight ratio. The Honda CR-V's tank is approximately the same size as the Toyota's, though the Toyota RAV4's is somewhat more capacious. The Honda CR-V and the RAV4 compete for the same parking spaces.
Convenience
You doubtless won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Honda CR-V than with the Toyota RAV4, as both offer similar ranges.
Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the CR-V to the dealership as the Toyota RAV4. In terms of gas mileage, the Toyota RAV4 is somewhat better than the Honda CR-V, but not by much. When it comes to MSRP, the Honda CR-V doesn't cost much less than the Toyota RAV4.
Handling
The Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CR-V have roughly similar tires. With their similar turning radiuses, the Honda CR-V and the Toyota RAV4 likely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.
Drivetrain
The CR-V's engine is substantially smaller than the Toyota's. Note that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the other hand, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Toyota is markedly more powerful than the Honda CR-V. Torque equals pickup, and the Toyota RAV4 will have picked up and gone by the time the CR-V finally gets moving.
Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the RAV4's front cabin compared to the Honda. While the rear of the Honda offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the RAV4, there frankly isn't much of a difference.
Overview
The CR-V and the Toyota RAV4 have the same basic after-sale protection.
Good Luck

Thnaks!
A: it is a very good very durable small SUV. it has a good mpg rating and is very roomy for its size. in my area (Alaska) they are about $20,000 for a decent one.

I am buying a new car and I NEED this information and I have been looking on the net but nothing!!! and I can't go to a honda car dealer!! HELP!!!!
A: Here is the specs from Honda's website. Of course, this is in gallons and MPGs... You'll have to do a little math to figure to liters. Remember that these are just estimates. Depending on how you drive, you may experience better or worse fuel economy.

Recently, I just brought a 2008 Honda CRV EX 4WD for $22,300. Do you think that's a good deal?? or am I being cheated?

Q: 2008 Honda Crv?
Just bought a 2008 honda crv lx. It comes with what looks like a glass faceplate on the cd player. I could be plastic but it looks like glass. Anywho it now has scratches on it. Very light ones but they are very noticeable. Does anyone know how to fix it?
A: The headlight restorer kit does NOT get rid of scratches, its to get rid of the yellowing of the lens. Read the box.
Mr know it all has a better answer. And he says that because trying to condition those scratches might just push that peice in.
If you are not afraid of it falling in, you can try a good wax. Wax on plastic helps hide scratches the same way you do that to dvd's and cd's
They even sell stuff like that at wallmart or radio shack, all it is is wax with applicator.
Q: What country is the 2008 Honda CRV for the U.s. & Canadian market made/assembled in?
A: They usually come from Jalisco, Mexico, or East Liberty, Ohio, but you could be getting one from Japan (if you're lucky).
Q: Should i trade in my 2005 Jaguar S type R for a 2008 honda CRV?
A: if your not driving a jag for the way it looks yes.
the CRV is more reliable but won't win any beauty contest.
it's 4 cyl engine is powerful enough and still gets great mpg on the Hwy. In the city it's not as good but still better than most.
I'd get the top of the line with the AWD and the sun roof.
the dark colored ones look better than the lighter colors.
Q: Can you remove the back seats in a Honda 2008 CRV?
A: I have one and no you cannot remove them unless you unbolt them from the car. They do fold up pretty nicely though. I was able to fit a twin bed with mattress and box springs in there! All around I love the car. Hope this helped you out!
Q: Is there a break-in period for new cars? Specifically a 2008 Honda CRV?
A: Yes the break in period is in the owners manual ( about halfway through the big book you got with the car.) Your salesperson should have gone over this with you in detail. Shame on them for not doing this.
The break in period is 600 miles during which you should do as follows.
No fast starts or rapid acceleration (within the realm of normal) this means you can pass the slow moving 1960 VW Beetle on the uphill but do NOT race the kid on the Ninja Motorcycle.
Avoid hard braking for at least the first 200 miles.
Do NOT change the oil until your Oil Life indicator tells you to. (there is a conditioner in the oil that helps seat your valves and rings and you want to leave this in as long as possible.) If you need help with finding your Oil Life indicator let me know.
Also do not tow anything and keep it within the speed limit and you should be just fine.
Let me know if you have any other questions. And again SHAME on your salesperson for not going over all of this with you
