Q: What is the blue book value of a 1995 honda civic?
I just purchased a 4 door 1995 Honda Civic and am wondering what the blue book value of it is before I register it.
I live in Saint John, New Brunswick. And I think I paid well under what the blue book value is so I am wondering if I should get is apraised before I go into to register it and pay the taxes on the blue book value
A: the answer depends on where you live and the model of the car as well as the mileage and equipment on the car as prices vary around the country.
two sites that are pretty reliable
kelly blue book
http://www.kbb.com
and
http://www.nada.com
which is the site for the North American Dealers Association which sets the used car values for most car dealers
both will give you estimates of the "blue book" for your region of the country
hope that helps
Q: Does Bomz Racing make an adapter kit for the 1995 Honda Civic DX coupe?
I bought both seats and car together without checking if they fit or not, plus the stock seats were thrashed. If anyone knows where I can find an adapter kit for a 1995 Honda Civic DX coupe, please include the link. Thank you in advance!
A: I would check with the company. what were the seats ment to fit in or were they universal. or i know nopi.com sells seat rail adapters
Q: Do I need an install kit for a 1995 Honda Civic when installing a cd payer?
Anyone know what I need in terms of installing a cd player in my 1995 civic hatchback?
A: Not really. You just need your screwdriver to remove the driver's bottom dashboard panel, the bottom passenger's dashboard panel, and the center panel. Then remove the old stereo and reconnect the wiring harnesses accordingly to your new cd player.
Your new cd player may come with it's own metal housing that you slip into the center panel. That's where your new cd player will slide and lock. You may need a tool that will help you shave or trim the edges if you need more room to get it to fit in.
Good luck!

Q: what to get to make a 1995 honda civic faster?
What can i get to modify my 1995 civic to make it go faster?
A: What you can do with your car depends on how much money you are willing to spend. The three basics that most people will tell you to upgrade is your exhaust header, getting a cold air intake, and get a better free flowing muffler. Without changing all three parts, the air flow will be restricted.
If money is no object, consider buying a turbo or twin turbo (two smaller sized turbos working in concert) and upgrade to racing tires. If you're not worried about passing smog, you can swap your engine block to a more powerful engine (type R/Si VTEC). Since lighter cars tend to accelerate faster than heavier cars, you can also replace certain parts of your car with carbon fiber parts, like your hood/trunk/doors. And if you plan to use your car exclusively for racing (and if your car is a hatchback or coupe) you can remove the back seats to reduce your overall weight.

Q: I have a 1995 honda civic is it good to drive in D3?
I have a 1995 honda civic is it good to drive in D3?
Is it okay for me to drive around in D3 rather than D4 personally i like driving in D3 only because it feels faster and i get to hear the reving in the car sounds real nice!!!...... but just wondering if its okay is there any type of side effect toward doing this??
A: lower fuel mileage and an engine that is working harder at high speeds.
Q: I need to know what model car I have. I know it's a honda Civic, 1995?
I already know that it's a 1995 honda civic, but I don't know the trim level so I can figure out what I can do with it.
Can anyone help me figure that out?
I wanna know this becuase I also want to know if it has VTEC
Ok, I don't happen to have the registration on me, or the title, and also it had a paint job previous to me owning it so the "dx" "ex" part is missing
A: the seventh digit in the vin indacates the trim level
a 4 is DX , 5 is LX, 6 is LX with abs, 9 is EX thats for a 4 door. if you have a 2 door then a 2 is DX and EX (sorry its both). a 3 is ex with abs. the D16Z6 engine is VTEC and thats indicated by a 9 as the 6th digit in the vin for a 4 door and for the 2 door it would be a 1.
hope that helps
Q: Why does the 1995 Honda Civic hatchback VX get such good mpg? Also where can i get one?
I'm wondering what parts or components of a honda civic hatchback vx, that make it get good gas mileage. Also does anyone know where I can get one?
A: The answers regarding the lean-burn VTEC-E engine are on track. This is not to be confused with the 'high output" V-TEC engines. It's a little slow off the mark, but certainly not embarrassing. The best I saw with mine was 62mpg, but I got 50+ on many highway trips. It 'only' gets around 42 running to work if I don't use the AC much, and drops to about 38 in the winter.
As to where to get one, keep a sharp eye out, since they're rare. I'm thinking about selling mine, because my new wife doesn't like how small and noisy it is. That's another part of the mileage; it's made very light by leaving out some of the sound insulation and such. It also has special lightweight wheels.
Q: how do i adjust the timing on a 1995 honda civic. i need to pass smog test in california?
i live in california and just failed a smog check on my 1995 honda civic because my timing was retarded to 8 degrees. it needs to be at least 16 to pass. how and where responces would be nice. thanks

Q: Stock Wheel Dimensions for 1995 Honda Civic Ex?
Hi everyone. I am currently looking at buying some aftermarket rims for my '95 Honda civic ex (Si Canada). I was wondering what the stock wheel dimensions are, and the reccomended aftermarket rim size is, and the biggest I can go if I also what my ride lowered, and also what the bolt pattern is. If anybody could help that would be great!
A: I'm not too sure. But you could check https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/om/CV9595/CV9595MAINIDX.pdf for the online version of the manual which should have all the specs you need to know.
Personally for that generation Civic I think the best is 16".
Q: Can I change the tire size on my 1995 Honda Civic from 15in to 16 or 17 and still get the same gas mileage?
I don't know a whole lot about cars, but I just purchased a 95 Civic, and the wheels don't match. I'd get the same size (15"), but want to know if I can get 16" or 17" tires without doing anything, and if it will effect my gas mileage. Are there any good modification instruction websites out there, since I also need to replace the bumper and rusting parts? Thanks much!
A: the two answers above were wrong. the bigger tyre you use, the bigger rims you need and the heavier it gets. Now common sense would tell us that added weight means added fuel consumption.
Q: What are some good sites or places to get luxury interior upgrades to a 1995 honda civic?
Just any interior parts such as black leather seats or the top ceiling carpeting (before i got it the sunroof was poorly put in and the ceiling carpeting is just dangling down).
not looking for anything for racing, just luxury. and also does this short shifter look legit?

why not????
A: why would you want to be any money or "luxury" into a car that old?
