Q: Does the 2009 honda civic SI's usb audio interface work for other mp3s such as creative zen m?
I'm going to get a 2009 honda civic si and i want to know if my creative zen m will work with the new usb audio interface? Will it work the same way as an ipod? because if not I'm going to get a ipod then.
A: Yes, it will work as long as you have a USB male plug. The new Civic has the female USB plug in the armrest.
Q: is there any price Increase expected for the 2009 Honda Civic?
Hi,
I am planning to buy a 2009 Honda Civic after August, had any one knew that if Honda is going to cash the current demand for Civic & go for an Increase in the Price
A: The price of manufacturing is increasing due to other rising commodity prices, not to mention specifically crude oil. These increased costs are passed onto you the consumer. Year over year price increases are typically in the 500 dollar range on most Honda products.
Q: Do you think is a good price for a Honda Civic 2009?
Hello,
Do you think a $18,800 is a good drive off deal for a 2009 Honda Civic LX-S Manual 4-doors?
Yeah my price includes, TTL and they are going to special order it because it's been pretty hard to find an LX-S and even more one that's manual, I hate automatics. Thanks for your answers to all.

A: 2009 Civics are currently selling for full sticker price, which for this vehicle is 18,625, which also includes the destination charge. If your price includes dealer prep and license fees, then it sounds about right, but your not getting any kind of deal. Offer them a little less, say 18,300, and see if they budge on the price any. The dealer invoice is 17,213 for this model, so there making a good profit on it.
Edmunds.com is a good resource to find out what you should be paying.
Q: how come the 2009 honda fit has less MPG than the 2009 honda civic?
even with a smaller engine, smaller size, and smaller wheels.. it ends up having equal or less MPG than the honda civic. why?
A: Overall my 2008 Fit gets about 5MPG less than my friends Civic. On the highway on a long trip my car can best his slightly at 40MPG at 65MPH.
I think the smaller Fit engine has to work hard to move the car around town and run the A/C and that accounts for the extra fuel usage. When I turn on the A/C the mileage drops 2-4MPG.
Q: Why buy a 2009 honda civic si instead of a 2008 si?
They are exactly the same... why pay more for the 2009 honda civic SI???
A: Buy a used 2006-2007 for the right price in a good condition. That way you save a lot of money and it look exactly the same. But if you get tiered of it you can sell it.
Q: What should I offer the dealership for a 2009 Honda civic Lx?
My husband and I are newlyweds and clueless about car buying, we really don't want to get ripped off so your advice is appreciated. The dealership said 17,500 was the best they can do, is this a good deal? Thank you for your help!
please help!
my husband and I want to thankyou for your help highflyer
A: Assuming this includes the $670 destination charge, and also assuming it's a manual trans, then that is probably about the best you will find. Edmunds.com shows that Civic LXs with manual trans are currently selling, on average, for sticker, which is $17825 including the dest charge.
Q: how long will it tale for my 2009 honda civic hybrid to get here?
hi! So I have decided to get a 2009 honda civic hybrid. Does anybody know how long it will take to get here if I order it at the dealership with all the things I'm putting in :D
A: good question the 2009s are in stock since early September. Has your dealer tried a search for your car? The other accessories are almost always dealer installed, SO it should be only one or two days after the dealer receives the car. With the economy the delear wants you to have your car as quick as possible.
Q: 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer or 2009 Honda Civic?
I'm considering buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer for my first car its decent looking and only 14,000, cheap right? Does anyone know if it has a good gas millage and is a well constructed car that will last a while? Let me put it this way is it a good car? Its the Lancer or a new Honda Civic which would be the better pick?
A: They Civic is the better car.
It's just better on gas, higher in residual value, and more problem free than the Lancer.
Q: Would the purchase price of a Honda civic sedan 2009 model go down during thanksgiving and/or Christmas season?
I will buy the 2009 civic sedan ex automatic. I am just concern with the timing. I was wondering if they will have discounted values on thanksgiving and/or christmas season. Or do you expect purchase price to be lower since market is bad and nobody is willing to buy thus forcing dealers to lower their cost for them to meet their quota? Thanks
A: I don't expect the price of the Civic to drop in the near future. I know for a fact that Honda is not having trouble selling Civics. My sister just bought a '09 Civic EX last month, and their was not much room for negotiation (and we've bought 3 other Honda's from the same guy/dealer). You might get a little bit more off an '08 Civic if you buy now, but it won't be a huge difference. If you're set on the '09 (it's really nice) then go in and negotiate the heck out of it. The Civic's sell themselves, but the salespeople want your sale. Good luck!!
Q: whats the difference between the 2009 honda civic hybrid and the 2008 honda civic hybrid? ?
which one is better? does the newer one get better mileage? what else is different about it besides the Front Grill.

Q: What does the 2009 Honda Civic look like?

A: Apparently this is what it could look like:

Q: How is a 2008 Honda Civic available in '07? Should I buy a 2008 Civic in '08 or wait for the 2009 Civic?
The 2008 Model cars are generally launched in '07. Why is this?
Also in that case, it seems better to wait for the launch of the 2009 model if I have to buy a model this year ('08)?
A: Models are generally released in the fall of the year before their model year.
ex. 2009 Civic
probably released Fall 2008
Eventually you have to stop waiting and just buy.
Q: 2009 honda civic coupe?
do you think the 2009 Honda Civic LX (coupe) is a good car ?
btw - i'm sixteen.
A: The 2009 Honda Civic LX is not only a good choice, it is an excellent choice.
Some of the distinctions of the Honda Civic are:
1. The Honda Civic Coupe has Consumer Reports' Much-Better-Than-Average Reliability Verdicts for 9 of the past 10 model years and CR's Better-Than-Average Reliability Verdict for the remaining year.
2. The Honda Civic coupe is on AutoOnInfo.net's 2008 list of Automobiles with Best Engine Reliability, with an Engine Reliability Rating of +1.00 on a scale of -1.00 to +1.00.
3. The Honda Civic is on AutoOnInfo.net's very excluxive Best of 1998, Best of 1999, Best of 2000, Best of 2002, Best of 2003, and Best of 2004 (the most recent year for which AutoOnInfo.net has assembled its Best lists).
4. The 1.8-liter, 4-cylinder, manual-transmission Honda Civic is on ACEEE's list of the the Greenest Dozen with a Green Score of 44 and an EPA-estimated in-city fuel economy of 26 miles per gallon and on-highway fuel economy of 34 miles per gallon. The automatic-transmission Honda Civic is very comparable with an EPA-estimated in-city fuel economy of 25 miles per gallon and on-highway fuel economy of 36 miles per gallon.
Q: 2009 Ford Focus or a 2009 Honda Civic?
I had a 2006 Ford Focus until it was totaled in a head on collision. It did an excellent job protecting me from the accident and suffered no fractures.
Now I have to purchase a new car and I can get a 2009 Honda Civic Automatic DX-VP for $18,500 out the door. Then today I learned that Ford is going to offer employee pricing on their cars. I know I would be able to save about $3k-$4k on a car if I went with the Ford. I never had any mechanical problems with the ford, but the idea of getting the car at $3k cheaper than the civic might be a good option.
I know the civic will last me 7+years, but I worry that this short term investment might pay off more in the long run. I do get a better rate than the civic at 3.9% finance for 60 months than the Ford's 5.9% finance for 60 months. But perhaps since the Ford will be cheap, I can do 36 months for 0.0% financing
A: The Ford will depreciate faster than the Honda that is one thing to consider.
Q: Will these wheels be fine on 2009 Honda Civic DX?

A: according to your search results they should work on the 2009 Civic. Tire Rack is the supplier to Honda for the Honda Tire and Wheel Program so if they say they fit they should.
the traklite rims require a lug adaptor in conjunction with the new lug nuts and centering rings.
the sport rims only need the new lugs and centering rings.
when in doubt, call Tire Rack and ask them. They are very interested in your business.
hope that helps
