Q: Any ideas about playing IPOD on Honda Pilot 2007?
I need help playing music from my iPod to my car.
So far in my research I have found that there are 3 car audio solutions: FM transmitter, cassette adapter, and buying a completely new stereo.
I drive a 2007 Honda Pilot and it does not have a cassette player. I just bought a DLO Transpod and i couldn't find a good quality FM channel(I live in Houston, so it's kinda hard.) I just bought this car a few days ago, and not looking to buy a completely new stereo. Are there any other car audio solutions to sync your iPod with your car stereo?
A: The switching FM mod Sparky mentioned is a good choice and is the cheapest ~$30. Since it interrupts the FM feed (disables FM stations) and feeds the signal directly into the radio via the antenna plug.
The interface Conejote is talking about is a direct auxillary input. This will be a cleaner input, but it is alot more expensive. The model shown is $150.
Other drawbacks on the aux input are:
First of all, it has not been tested on the '07 models. However, there are generally very few changes between model years unless the vehicle has been redesigned.
These are the limitations listed on the website for this interface.
Honda:
*not for in dash 6cd sysmtem
*factory xm/sirius disabled if present
*factory navigation requires special wring harness made by installer
*subwoofer equipped models require custom harness
*not compatible with navigation systems
*not for rear seat dvd entretaiment

Q: Can a 2007 honda pilot 2wd tow a 2007 ranger bass boat with 200 hp?
I have a 2007 honda Pilot 2wd ex and just wanna know if the car can tow a 2007 ranger bass boat with 200 hp? and do I need the cooler system for the power steering and radiator or I can do without it? please give me detail... thanks!
A: I would look in the owners manual as well as the rating on the hitch you have on the Pilot. If you are still unsure, I recommend calling your local U-Haul and asking them. Before you do though, find the weight of the boat+trailer; they should be able to tell you if your car can tow it.
A transmission cooler is always recommended for towing with a smaller vehicle such as yours, especially if you are going any length of distance (you might already have one though, it looks like a small (<1 sq ft) radiator attached to your regular radiator). You will NEVER need a cooler for your power sttering (plus your honda should already have a basic cooling system for power steering, my 93 Accord did at least and you have a small SUV).
Q: how to remove second row seat in honda pilot 2007?
I have a honda pilot 2007. Is anyone know how to remove the second row seat? The seat kinda split in two and the one that seats two people is the one that i want to remove.
A: You will have to remove the bolts that are holding the rails to the floor. It will not be an easy in, easy out thing to do.
Q: Can the 2007 Honda Pilot play mp3 disks?
i just bought a 2007 honda pilot, can you play mp3 disks on it? If you can ill burn some songs
A: Yes, burned CD's are compatible.
Q: I broke the tire pressure monitor systems (TPMS) attached to the wheels of my 2007 Honda Pilot.?
Can I use a TPMS from a 2006 Honda Pilot? Or do I need to buy it new from Honda and use a 2007 part?
A: you should be able to use the one from the 2006. if you drive the vehicle with the new sensor installed the system should 'automatically' recognize it. if it doesn't then you will have to have a dealer initialize the sensor.
a dealer can look up the part numbers for the sensors for both years to confirm they are the same. I'm not aware of any change between the 2006 and 2007 as those were the early years of the TMPS systems on Honda.
Also, tirerack.com can tell you if the sensors are the same if you need additional confirmation as they are the tire supplier to honda dealers for the 'factory' replacement tires and I belive they carry the sensors as well.
hope that helps
Q: 2007 Honda Pilot: How do I disable the chime for the seat belt reminder?
2007 Honda Pilot EX-L
A: Wear the seatbelt.
You shouldn't go messing around with disconnecting or cutting wires unless you know for certain that's _all_ it does. It may be hooked into the airbag system, IT also may be hooked into the cars diagnostics system and show an error, which could in turn set an error message in your OBD system which would cause you to fail inspection.
Seriously, the best way to get the chime to stop is to wear the belt.
Q: I bought 2007 Honda Pilot- I have noticed that on an incline while in Drive gear the car rolls back.I?
I bought 2007 Honda Pilot- I have noticed that on an incline (my normal driveway) while in Drive gear the car rolls backward when I release the brake. It feels really scary and unsafe. My husband has a Rodeo and it does not do that at all. I am really worried about this, especially when drving in San Francisco.
I can't believe that using my foot on my brake is my only option. This just seems like such a safety hazard! Why is it that only some automatic transmittions do this and not all?
i've always driven a stick and my husband has always driven the automatics. We noticed it while he was drving. It is of concern because when you feel it roll backwards you can't help but push the gas harder than necessary, which can accelerate you to fast. You see there is no clutch to even you out. Also, why would a 1998 rodeo izuzu (not luxury) have a non-back rolling transmition and a 2007 Pilot not have it. I have never experienced this in an Auto Transmition. I am taking it to the dealership to have it fixed or else.
A: Any auto will do this if it is not a very new luxury auto. The coupling between the engine and tranny is viscous. Basically if the car or the engine is going very slow, they won't hook up. Modern luxury autos have various techniques for sidestepping this but basically any inexpensive auto will have this problem. I am puzzled by the suggestion that you press on the brake with your left foot, if you are stuck at a light or stop sign, what is your right foot doing anyway? It is a shame that you have apparently not had to learn stick. You would find that moving your right foot from the brake to the gas and back is actually a very swift maneuver and that you won't roll more than an inch in the process. You should really not notice the rollback b/c if you are driving correctly you will be on the gas in an instant after coming off the brake.
Q: Will my 2007 Honda Pilot EX tow a one axle 8 foot box trailer without needing a transmission cooler?
A: Assuming you're talking about an automatic transmission, yes it will. However heavy loads and steep hills will overwork your tranny. A cooler will only help you in the long run and could possibly save you some money down the road.
Q: 2007 Honda Pilot. Do I need snow chains on all tires?
I'm taking my brand new 2007 Honda Pilot near Mt. Rainier this weekend to harvest a Christmas tree. The path to the cabin is a less-than-well maintained forest service road. It will be very snowy and very icy. I want to use chains in addition to the VTM-4, but am not sure if I have to use them on all four tires -- I have heard conflicting opinions. Please advise ASAP!!
A: Since your Honda Pilot has VTM-4 (an all wheel drive mechanism), you are better of putting chains on all four tires because this system will shift quite a bit in this situation to get the best traction and you do not want it to have to select only between two wheels. Do have fun.
Q: Honda Pilot 2007 automatic lock and unlocked door.?
I need to set my Honda Pilot 2007 EX-L to lock the door very time that put my key in the ignition and turn it on, and unlock my door very time I turn it off. I am not sure that my car let me program this option, I can not find it anywhere on the owner manual said you can do this, but I heard that it is possible. Does anyone have done this please help.
A: I have an 07 civic and I could change mine. There was a little short cut type manual included with the bigger bulkier manuals that told me how to do that. When I can I can go look at what it says to do and email the instructions to you if you want.
Q: Anyone here who owns a 2007 honda pilot, can you share information about this vehicle?
Ive been looking to buy a honda pilot 07 model and i want to get some inputs on this vehicle which would help me decide wether i should buy one, thanks for your help
A: I dont have one, but i have a civic . Just check on this website http://autos.yahoo.com/honda_pilot-reviews_user/
Goodluck!!!
Q: What kind of OEM speakers are in a 2007 Honda Pilot?

Q: Honda Pilot 2007 Door Lock!?
I have a 2007 Honda Pilot EX-L, how can I set the the door to lock when I turn on ignition and automatic unlock the door when I turn it off? It does not metion anywhere in the owner manual. Anyone have done this yourself please help. Thanks
A: Sit in driver and do the following.
close door
turn key to on position
push and hold lock button
after about five seconds you'll hear a click(can't remember if it is the first or second, hold till it clicks again, to program what you want)
turn car off
I think this is the right process. I'll check and get back
